Ordered this for saltwater use in Tx coastal region by kayak & wade / bank for redfish & specs. Seems of good quality & my second Daiwa as have amagnesium Steez for freshwater & very pleased with it. Decent price point. Oredered online but did call the vendor once. Very friendly & helpful with my questions. Spooled, processed & quick shipping time. May be back for a 500 size in the future.

the reel needed to be built by AVET and this was clearly communicated to me upon order. The time frame quoted for the fabrication/ shipment as reasonable and again well communicated by Charkbait staff. The reel is excellent and the fit/ finish is top notch. Drag on these reels vs the overall weight is hard to beat for our standard trolling and chunking in the mid-atlantic canyons
