Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free domestic shipping on most orders over $150 subtotal. This excludes oversized and bulky items such as rods, blanks, gaffs, some tackle boxes, lobster nets, landing nets and other large items. Any 1 piece rod over 7'10" in length often incurs the biggest oversize fees charged by domestic shipping companies although we do have lower rates via other carriers on the West Coast. Any additional shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout before any billing is done.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship products within the US and to almost every country in the world, covering all available destination via UPS and DHL. International shipping times depend on the products and destination. Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout, for most countries we also collect Duties and Taxes and prepay them so you do not have to deal with the carrier or customs.
How long will it take to get my order?
Standard shipping can take 3-8 business days depending on location and order volume. If you have requested spooling on your reel or rigging on your lures then it could take an additional day or two. Next day & 2 day shipping is available on most domestic orders (for an additional charge). Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the next business day.
What carriers do you ship with?
We work with UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service, GLS and DHL. When your order qualifies for free shipping or has a rod that qualifies for discounted shipping we reserve the right to choose which carrier it is sent with, otherwise you can pick the service you want. UPS Ground ranges from 1 to 7 day delivery, USPS Priority Mail is typically 1-3 days but is not a guaranteed express service, and USPS Ground Advantage takes roughly 3-7 business days. Longer rods are generally sent via GLS unless otherwise specified, this service ranges from 1 - 10 days.

The new PCH Trolling rods represent a great upgrade over the last generation Makaira trolling rods. The new rods feature an upgraded blank design using both graphite and E-Glass as well as a carbon fiber weave. Along with these changes comes a big improvement in component technology from Alps, the heavy duty roller guides are some of the best in the business. The first guide is an oversized wind-on roller to make sure your larger 50’s, 80’s and 130’s work without any issues.
There will be models in 5’10, 6’6 and 6’10 lengths, which will cover all of your major trolling and swordfishing applications. TRS models have a straight butt and TRB models have a bent butt.
Another major change is in the butt section, gone is the heavy aluminum bent and unibutt. All of the new PCH trolling rods feature a woven carbon fiber butt that drops the overall weight of each rod by 25% when compared to the Makaira series and other competing rods from other manufacturers. We’ve received a few of the models that will be available but there will be more to come in the following weeks.

I own 8 of these rods in various sizes. I run 30W-80W reels in trolling and deep drop configs. These are fantastic rods. I have found no issues with the durability of the graphite butts and the weight savings is much appreciated.
Rod is quality materials and well built.
These guys are taking too much advantage of the public. I bought a rod two weeks ago, went back to buy another. Price jumped 200.
You purchased a rod during our Black Friday sale during which it was 25% off MSRP as advertised, after the sale ended prices went back to MSRP. There is no business in the US that maintains Black Friday sale prices year round. I'm sorry we only saved you $200.

Looking for something I thought wouldn't be overkill in the type of fishing at reasonable price. Let say you get your money's worth with this rod absolutely light with quality materials use to make it. I use it in gulf of America with no problems and people always ask where to buy it. But most important part of this whole purchase is this place is absolutely awesome. I wish I could actually go in-store to meet them. You need questions answer or want specific color. They try to get it for you.
First day out with this rod got two blue marlin.
150 & 200. The PCH-TRS-510H rods are matched to Accurate 50 spooled with 130 Diamond hallow core. This rod has a nice deep bend that I like for stand up fishing.
I also like that I can change the but. My only complaint is the straight butt is a different size than the bent butt. I use two straight buds that I replaced with Winthrop terminator butts for my outriggers and two bent buts for the corner flat lines.
The rods are well made with high end components. I would definitely recommend these rods.
