Review of GCB710MH
“I just wanted to share a little information you may or may not be aware of already. A few weeks back I got a call from a customer for whom I had built one of my Canoe Creek fiberglass cranking rods using the GCB710MH Rainshadow E-Glass blank. He was calling to tell me that he had failed to strap it down on the front deck of his boat and had bounced it overboard in some rough water here on Lake Guntersville. He turned around and headed back to mark the spot with his GPS in hopes of being able to dredge the bottom and hopefully snag the rod/reel with a deep diving crankbait.  However, it proved unnecessary, as the rod was floating horizontally when he returned. He could not believe it!  Were you aware that this blank floated? Even with a reel?

Just another example of why I only use your products for ALL of my rod builds. “
