Delivery & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free domestic shipping on most orders over $150 subtotal. This excludes oversized and bulky items such as rods, blanks, gaffs, some tackle boxes, lobster nets, landing nets and other large items. Any 1 piece rod over 7'10" in length often incurs the biggest oversize fees charged by domestic shipping companies although we do have lower rates via other carriers on the West Coast. Any additional shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout before any billing is done.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship products within the US and to almost every country in the world, covering all available destination via FedEx Express and UPS. International shipping times depend on the products and destination and rates are automatically calculated at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?

Standard shipping can take 3-8 business days depending on location and order volume. If you have requested spooling on your reel or rigging on your lures then it could take an additional day or two. Next day & 2 day shipping is available on most domestic orders (for an additional charge). Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the next business day.

What carriers do you ship with?

We work with UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service and GLS. When your order qualifies for free shipping or has a rod that qualifies for discounted shipping we reserve the right to choose which carrier it is sent with, otherwise you can pick the service you want. UPS Ground ranges from 1 to 7 day delivery, USPS Priority Mail is typically 1-3 days but is not a guaranteed express service, and USPS Ground Advantage takes roughly 3-7 business days. Longer rods are generally sent via GLS unless otherwise specified, this service ranges from 1 - 10 days.

Prop 65 Warning ⚠

Diamond’s tougher finish offers superior abrasion resistance for extreme conditions. New formulation offers tensile strengths up to 200% of stated line tests for the same diameter line. Superior knot strength and abrasion resistance are two of the most critical factors in choosing a monofilament. Diamond does both of these better than any other line on the market today!

  • Available in Clear, Blue & Yellow
  • Line tests: 12, 16, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 130, & 200lb

At the request of many of our clients, we’ve added Momoi to our stable of great fishing products. In truth, it took me quite a while to confirm why we needed to add this manufacturer’s product to our mix. Ande had been around a long time, makes a good line. Berkley is well established.  P-Line makes a great product, tough, limited stretch with great casting capabilities. And, Izor…well it’s the most thought of and most highly recommended line for long range fishing in the world. It’s low stretch, high abrasion resistance and understated/conservative test ratings make it the line of choice in that style of fishing. But, folks asked us for Momoi. So, I did my own homework and honestly liked what I found. They have several well considered versions of mono in their line, including I.G.F.A.  But, first off I was keenly interested in bringing in their Diamond Nylon Mono and their Spectra/Braided line.

Momoi’s Diamond line is indeed tough and conservatively rated like Izor’s. But, it’s a little softer and thinner. Those two qualities alone made it worth the investment. Momoi’s Diamond mono has earned high marks for superior abrasion resistance under extreme fishing conditions. This formulation of their line offers tensile strengths up to 200% of stated line tests. As a result, knot strength is excellent – and that’s often where other lines fall short. Momoi’s Diamond line is available in an ivory clear, offshore blue and hi-vis yellow. It reminds me of Izor’s line, but it’s a bit thinner in diameter.
