Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free domestic shipping on most orders over $150 subtotal. This excludes oversized and bulky items such as rods, blanks, gaffs, some tackle boxes, lobster nets, landing nets and other large items. Any 1 piece rod over 7'10" in length often incurs the biggest oversize fees charged by domestic shipping companies although we do have lower rates via other carriers on the West Coast. Any additional shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout before any billing is done.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship products within the US and to almost every country in the world, covering all available destination via UPS and DHL. International shipping times depend on the products and destination. Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout, for most countries we also collect Duties and Taxes and prepay them so you do not have to deal with the carrier or customs.
How long will it take to get my order?
Standard shipping can take 3-8 business days depending on location and order volume. If you have requested spooling on your reel or rigging on your lures then it could take an additional day or two. Next day & 2 day shipping is available on most domestic orders (for an additional charge). Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the next business day.
What carriers do you ship with?
We work with UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service, GLS and DHL. When your order qualifies for free shipping or has a rod that qualifies for discounted shipping we reserve the right to choose which carrier it is sent with, otherwise you can pick the service you want. UPS Ground ranges from 1 to 7 day delivery, USPS Priority Mail is typically 1-3 days but is not a guaranteed express service, and USPS Ground Advantage takes roughly 3-7 business days. Longer rods are generally sent via GLS unless otherwise specified, this service ranges from 1 - 10 days.

Daiwa Seaborg G 1200M Electric Reels 2024
The Seaborg G1200M is the capacity reel of Daiwa's 2024 MEGATORQUE-G generation — the “Big Monster.” It swallows 1,420 yards of 65 lb braid (1,090 yards of 80 lb), which is deep-drop and daytime-swordfish territory, and pairs that spool with the same 79 lb drag and two-speed motor gearing as the standup-oriented G800MJ. When the water is measured in thousands of feet, this is the size that does it without compromise.
MEGATORQUE-G power, MEGATWIN gears
The MEGATORQUE-G motor replaced the previous 1200MJ powerplant with more torque in an aluminum, heat-shedding housing, backed by a 3-year / 300 km motor warranty. MEGATWIN is genuine two-speed gearing under power — 170 m/min no-load in high, a torque-rich 60 m/min low — shifting automatically as load builds, or manually at a button. Momentary winding power is 350 lb (159 kgf).
Drag built for the long pull
ATD with nine large carbon washers (up from seven on the prior generation) and an aluminum drag radiator that carries heat off the stack: 79 lb (36 kg) max, smooth from the first inch. A MAGSEALED ball bearing guards the spool shaft among 22 bearings total, and the forged-aluminum power lever gives one-thumb control of speed and clutch.
The electric brains
Auto jigging (one-, two-, three-step and random patterns), adjustable auto-stop with approach alarms, chum timer, timer and constant-speed winding, depth alarms with 10 m revision, a fishing-history log, and a big dot LCD that reads in feet or meters, nine languages, with always-on backlight and an overload-protection breaker. It pairs with Daiwa's Bluetooth REMOTE JOG (sold separately) for running the reel from a distance — handy when one angler is managing several deep lines.
Rated DC 12–24 V (usable 12–26 V) — on a 24 V system it winds meaningfully faster and harder. Daiwa's Super Lithium or Tough Battery series is the recommended source; it will not run on household AC.

Electric reel power & care basics
Power. Electric reels run on DC battery power only — never household AC, and never a 24V boat system unless the reel is rated for it (this reel's rating is in the spec table). A dedicated, waterproof reel battery — Daiwa's Super Lithium or Tough Battery series, or a marine deep-cycle — beats running off the boat, whose voltage swings can trip the reel's protection circuit mid-fight. Use only a lithium pack the maker specifies for your model.
If it slows down or stops: it's usually the battery, not the reel. Below about 10V the reel restricts its winding power, and an overload breaker pauses winding for a few seconds under an excessive load or heat spike, then resumes. A cord connected with reversed +/- polarity won't conduct at all.
Care. Rinse gently in cool fresh water (under 30°C/86°F) — mild dish soap and a soft sponge for grime, no solvents or stiff brushes — then dry completely, loosen the drag, and drain the handle knob before storage. Store the power cord disconnected and treat it as a consumable: Daiwa recommends a new cord every two years or roughly 60 outings. And don't open the reel up yourself — the electronics aren't user-serviceable.
