Tungsten Jigs

Tungsten is 74% more dense than lead making it a great material to make small and compact jigs and weights out of. We carry a wide selection of tungsten jigs in various sizes from 30g all the way up to 400g! Over the past year they have become very popular for the SoCal bluefin given their size matches our bait perfectly while still letting guys use heavier line to get down to depth but they can be used for almost any kind of offshore fishing. Deep water slow pitch jigging benefits greatly from the use of tungsten jigs since you need little more than half of the jig weight to get down to the same depth as lead, so you can easily use 200g jigs in over 500 feet of water or 400g in well over 1100 feet.
