Delivery & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free domestic shipping on most orders over $150 subtotal. This excludes oversized and bulky items such as rods, blanks, gaffs, some tackle boxes, lobster nets, landing nets and other large items. Any 1 piece rod over 7'10" in length often incurs the biggest oversize fees charged by domestic shipping companies although we do have lower rates via other carriers on the West Coast. Any additional shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout before any billing is done.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship products within the US and to almost every country in the world, covering all available destination via FedEx Express and UPS. International shipping times depend on the products and destination and rates are automatically calculated at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?

Standard shipping can take 3-8 business days depending on location and order volume. If you have requested spooling on your reel or rigging on your lures then it could take an additional day or two. Next day & 2 day shipping is available on most domestic orders (for an additional charge). Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the next business day.

What carriers do you ship with?

We work with UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service and GLS. When your order qualifies for free shipping or has a rod that qualifies for discounted shipping we reserve the right to choose which carrier it is sent with, otherwise you can pick the service you want. UPS Ground ranges from 1 to 7 day delivery, USPS Priority Mail is typically 1-3 days but is not a guaranteed express service, and USPS Ground Advantage takes roughly 3-7 business days. Longer rods are generally sent via GLS unless otherwise specified, this service ranges from 1 - 10 days.

Daiwa’s Tanacom Bull 1000 really created a new style of electronic assist fishing reel. It’s proven success in a wide range of applications including kite work, dredge retrieve, jigging for tuna and swordfish as well as all other bottom oriented fish species, proved the validity of Daiwa’s design. In the old days there were a limited number of add-on power winders on the market for commercial application that fit a specific reel. These were bulky and expensive. Daiwa designed the Dendoh power-assisted reels from the ground up to provide deep water anglers an alternative. The Tanacom Bull (Tunacom) was designed for deep saltwater application, and also for use as a kite reel. It’s large enough to hold the appropriate amount of line for it’s intended application, and robust enough to provide many, many years of exceptional service. It’s also relatively compact for it’s application, much more so than the add-on alternative. The reel can be used by crank (robust levelwind design), by direct power with the supplied 9′ 12 volt DC cable, or with the addition of optional battery packs. It features 4 ball bearings, heavy duty brass and bronze gearing, variable control of winding speed and power and a programmable jigging function. There’s a digital readout measuring line out and distance retrieved from the bottom, a programmable auto stop which stops winding once a lure reaches the surface… The TB1000 is the model with heavy duty marine application in mind. It’s robust, high capacity, and most surprisingly affordable. For 2014 Daiwa updated the design, kept all the important features, and they were able to shave off about 40% of the price. The new 1000’s are available at $600 instead of $1000!! It’s quite likely that this is the tip of the iceberg, and we can anticipate the smaller reels in this series to drop in price, too.
