The conventional side

The Fathom family is the modern Penn workhorse and we carry the whole spread: Fathom II star drags, single speeds, and two-speeds, levelwind versions, and the low-profile models up through the Fathom 500. For deep-drop and kite fishing there are Fathom Electric kits and the International Hooker autostop electrics. The International VI two-speeds remain the big-game standard they've been for decades, the Torque lever drags are the compact bulldogs of the line, and the US Senator star drags carry the 113 heritage forward — the same basic reel that introduced generations of anglers to saltwater fishing. Squall and Warfare round out the conventional side at friendlier price points.

The spinning side

Authority is Penn's flagship saltwater spinner, with the Slammer IV and its DX versions right behind it — fully sealed and built for the surf and the boat alike. The Spinfisher VI line covers more situations than any spinner Penn has made, including Live Liner, Long Cast, and bail-less versions, and the Battle, Clash II, Fierce Live Liner, and Z Series give you proven Penn quality at every budget. Spooling done properly

A Penn deserves proper line work. Select your spooling when you order — braid with a topshot, straight braid, or hollow core with wind-on leaders — and we'll rig it before it ships, with real connections rather than shortcuts.
