It is perfect for smelt or squid but also can catch other fin bait such as anchovies, ballyhoo. cigar minnows, herring, smaller mackerel or sardines. This net can be used off of a boat, bridge, pier, or any over hanging structure. This hoop net is not only ideal for hooping bait but It also can be used as a light landing net when fishing. This net can be used in deep or shallow water. The hoop net measures 32 inches in diameter. The frame is made of steel and the netting comes outfitted with resistance free quarter of an inch mono mesh and also comes rigged with 100 feet of poly rope. 1/4" Mono Netting.
