The lures are cast and assembled in the Bahamas, great conditions for setting the highly polished resin heads. We stock only the LGC (Low Center of Gravity) series of lures from BahamaLure. These are their most effective lures. They use a "keel" weight system running below the leader hole so that they'll remain upright at all times. Because the lures are guaranteed to swim true, this give three advantages over other lures.
1. The eyes are always oriented correctly (a live baitfish will not be dragging along on it's side...)
2. The hook set will remain oriented correctly as desired (there is a hook lock in the back of BahamaLure heads)
3. Swimming action will always be at it's best because the lure swims true

In the picture above right you can see the soft hook lock feature all LGC Series BahamaLure's offer. It makes rigging the lure, orienting your hook rig much easier and more predictable in use. It also provides a cushion between metal and resin, thus reducing chipping and abrasion on your leader.

Another thing we liked a lot about these lures are their eyes. The large shimmering eyes are unique and an added proven tool for getting a fish's attention on the troll. The unique appearance has proven to drive game fish crazy. I've seen times when the "blind" lures go unnoticed while those with eyes get hit. These lures take that observation into play and really provide a startled and scarred quality to the lure once in the water. That makes a predator even more likely to target this lure.

Custom lures such as these can easily run in the neighborhood of $100 or more for standard size lures, some up to $200. Some of these are well worth the investment.
