Frenzy Angry Poppers!

Here's another terrific product from our friends at Frenzy.  You can tell these guys know what they're doing, like the professionals they are. The new lures are built right and they are deadly effective.  There's not much more fun than enticing a bite on the surface.  Freshwater bass and trout fishermen live for those days.  We can do the same on saltwater, and the good fishermen do move from bait and try to get bit by their own devices and added action.  Well, the Frenzy Angry Poppers will indeed get you bit.  We've already heard the feedback.  These things are tough and they're good.  Like all the gear from Frenzy, the lures are also priced right!

First off, lets look at the construction.  The lures are solid, not hollow.  Inside the lure there is a chunk of metal that runs from the tail to the nose.  You can see the metal in the mid section of the lure's belly in the picture to the left.   That's where the split rings are connected, and hooks.  The hooks are good quality trebles.  You can re-rig with doubles or singles if that's your style, but the trebles will work well for you (and have already accounted for some very good fish in the 100# class). The split rings are HEAVY duty. I do not see you straightening these out unless you are really pulling some serious drag pressure (over 20#). On the lures side you'll see lots of prism reflection. The lures have very reflective sides and great big beady eyes.  They have a slant nose so you can swim them across the water's surface.

The lures are good size and heavy.  They will cast very well, and give you a good shot at hitting the "zone."  With distance in casting comes a longer retrieve of your lure and more opportunities to get bit!

How to fish 'em:
You can cast the Angry Poppers - Approach schools of feeding gamefish or flotsam from the up-wind side maintaining a good distance to avoid spooking wary fish.  Use the weight of the Angry Popper to throw your bait far from the boat and into the strike zone.  When retrieving, hold your rod tip high and use a fast scurrying motion across the surface.  Maintain a slow steady crank with the reel so that tension is always maintained on your bait to aid in solid hook-ups when a strike occurs.

Troll the Popper - Some of the Frenzy pro staffers have found the Angry Poppers to be highly effective as a trolled bait, especially where gamefish have found to be feeding on flying fish at night.  Simply slow troll your popper with rod in hand creating your own erratic action by pumping the rod.  Hang on tight!

Please compare these lures to others on the market.  I believe you'll find them to be made better.  I know you'll find the price very attractive, and I know you'll get bit if you are in the zone. These are the best poppers on the market for anywhere near double the price.
