The new 2024 Blue Sniper surf/shore rods continue the legacy of the original series made in 2009 with many improvements to the overall performance of the rods. They have undergone a lot of development to improve the recoil of these rods without making making the action faster or stiffer, the biggest benefit of this improvement is how much easier it makes these rods to cast. With more recoil the rod is doing more of the work for you when it unloads during a cast, so these rods will cast further with less effort. Because of this they have also widened the release point angle, so you not longer have to release your lure at the perfect timing to get the best cast, so even someone picking it up for the first time can cast well.

They have two primary models, the all rounders and the plugging specific PL models. The all rounder lets you bring one rod to work a variety of lures and jigs, giving you great versatility. The PL plugging models are specifically made for larger volume stickbaits, jerkbaits and pencil poppers instead of jigs, they are not only better for casting but also working these lures back in because of the lighter tip feel which is perfect for Striper fishing.

All models use Fuji SiC stainless steel guides, with the lightest 103M-ML using KW+LKW frames and the rest using a combo of MN+LKW. The fit and finish of these rods is excellent and they balance well once you have a reel on them. Yamaga Blanks rods come with a 2 year US warranty.

Blue Sniper 103ML-M

A highly versatile model that can tackle a wide range of sea scenes and targets with one rod, and also plays an active role as a finesse model that delicately tackles tough situations.

A model that uses light PE1.5 to 2 lines to tackle tough situations caused by small bait patterns and high pressure. The flexible ML class tip allows for comfortable finesse attacks using small plugs including sea bass plugs and 20 to 40g jigs, and the M class butt power enables speed-oriented power games using PE3 in crowded fields and rugged terrain. The blank combines the torque to control bluefish with the series' best lightness and light usability, reducing the burden on anglers and promising technical game development without breaking concentration.

Recommended reel size: Daiwa or Okuma 4000-6000

Blue Sniper 100M-MH

A highly balanced model that combines the casting performance, lure operation performance, and fighting performance required for shore bluefish games at a high level and has high versatility. This is a high-balanced model that

thoroughly sharpens the light casting feel and lure operation, while being set at the standard length of 10ft, which is the core of shore bluefish games, and is based on the premise of "continuing to throw" without stress. The wide release point makes it easy to achieve a stable flight distance, and the soft tip and powerful butt allow you to freely operate various plugs and even sharpen the action of metal jigs. This is the most versatile model in the series, and can be used as a main model in any field, and is a must-have sub-rod that you can trust even in expedition games aimed at big fish.

Recommended reel size: Daiwa or Okuma 6000-8000

Blue Sniper 96H

A new high-power and high-response H-class blank allows you to move heavy weight lures lightly and freely to attract fish in a manual style> This high-power and high-response model has

the power of an H-class rod, but is designed to maximize the maneuverability of a 9ft-class rod, with a slender, lightweight, and highly resilient blank for a light feel. Heavy weight jigs can be swung surprisingly easily, and jig operation in rapid currents can be performed smoothly and lightly. However, since it is not a model that requires stiffness, it is easy to manually operate various plugs and give them a responsive action, and even when fighting, it bends firmly against the load and quickly floats the fish. As a new dimension H-class rod, it is a rod that creates a new style.

Recommended reel size: Daiwa or Okuma 6000-14000

Blue Sniper PL109MH

Combines the precise action of a diving pencil with long-distance casting performance and power. A plugging-specialized technical model that has been perfected to attract and catch.

This is a plugging-specialized model that has overwhelming long-distance casting performance created by the long length approaching 11ft, while reducing the weight to the utmost and pursuing a light feel. The blank design combines a smooth tip to entangle the diving pencil in the water without error and a torque-filled bat power that suppresses the running of bluefish, enabling stable lure appeal and fight under various conditions. This model is lightweight and easy to handle, so you can stay focused even when waiting for a long time to migrate, and is a perfect fit for core anglers who are looking to master surface to sub-surface luring.

Recommended reel size: Daiwa or Okuma 8000-10000

Blue Sniper PL106H

A high-power plugging model for large bluefish using medium to large plugs, which keeps pressure on by bending during the fight and does not give up the initiative even in a power battle. This is a

high-power plugging model that was designed from scratch with materials and designs to pursue how to cast large plugs of around 100g easily and smoothly. It is possible to maintain a stable flight distance with a light cast feel without any trouble even if you continue to cast large plugs throughout the day. Furthermore, the strong and tenacious blank designed to stop the run of large bluefish in a serious battle is the culmination of Yamaga Blanks' blank molding technology, which continues to pursue the bending and power of the rod. It is a rod packed with high basic performance required in harsh situations such as offshore reefs, remote islands, rough reefs and shallow areas.
