Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free domestic shipping on most orders over $150 subtotal. This excludes oversized and bulky items such as rods, blanks, gaffs, some tackle boxes, lobster nets, landing nets and other large items. Any 1 piece rod over 7'10" in length often incurs the biggest oversize fees charged by domestic shipping companies although we do have lower rates via other carriers on the West Coast. Any additional shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout before any billing is done.
What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship products within the US and to almost every country in the world, covering all available destination via FedEx Express and UPS. International shipping times depend on the products and destination and rates are automatically calculated at checkout.
How long will it take to get my order?
Standard shipping can take 3-8 business days depending on location and order volume. If you have requested spooling on your reel or rigging on your lures then it could take an additional day or two. Next day & 2 day shipping is available on most domestic orders (for an additional charge). Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the next business day.
What carriers do you ship with?
We work with UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service and GLS. When your order qualifies for free shipping or has a rod that qualifies for discounted shipping we reserve the right to choose which carrier it is sent with, otherwise you can pick the service you want. UPS Ground ranges from 1 to 7 day delivery, USPS Priority Mail is typically 1-3 days but is not a guaranteed express service, and USPS Ground Advantage takes roughly 3-7 business days. Longer rods are generally sent via GLS unless otherwise specified, this service ranges from 1 - 10 days.

The Twitch Reaper Offshore is an evolutionary product for Savage Gear, they’ve made smaller sizes of these for the inshore and freshwater market but these larger offshore sizes should be perfect for heavy saltwater use. They weigh in at 4.5 oz for the fast sink and 4 oz for the slow sink so they’ll be very easy to cast far, giving you more time in the water to attract pelagic fish. As with any twitch bait lure you’ll want to try varying actions and techniques to narrow down what works best for you. All of these lures come equipped with heavy duty thru-wiring as well as large split rings and probably the highest quality set of treble hooks on the market. The BKK GT Rex trebles are about as good as it gets, not only are they large like other tuna and GT trebles but they are also stainless steel instead of mixed tin like the Owner, Decoy, and Gamakatsu alternatives. The 2 hooks alone retail for $16, so you’re getting a hell of a deal on an effective lure rigged for big fish.
The fast sink will be nice for suspended fish, the action can draw them up as the lure works its way down to the right depth. The slow sink will be nicer for the surface bite and for when the fish aren’t too deep. The twitching action isn’t the only way to draw them in, even with a slow and steady retrieve the lures have a lot of action giving the wide body design. Many of the colors feature a glow belly so even at depth the fish will be able to see them, this also opens up nighttime fishing here in SoCal as well as the oil rig fishing in the Gulf.
