Delivery & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free domestic shipping on most orders over $150 subtotal. This excludes oversized and bulky items such as rods, blanks, gaffs, some tackle boxes, lobster nets, landing nets and other large items. Any 1 piece rod over 7'10" in length often incurs the biggest oversize fees charged by domestic shipping companies although we do have lower rates via other carriers on the West Coast. Any additional shipping fees will be automatically calculated at checkout before any billing is done.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship products within the US and to almost every country in the world, covering all available destination via FedEx Express and UPS. International shipping times depend on the products and destination and rates are automatically calculated at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?

Standard shipping can take 3-8 business days depending on location and order volume. If you have requested spooling on your reel or rigging on your lures then it could take an additional day or two. Next day & 2 day shipping is available on most domestic orders (for an additional charge). Orders placed after 12pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the next business day.

What carriers do you ship with?

We work with UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service and GLS. When your order qualifies for free shipping or has a rod that qualifies for discounted shipping we reserve the right to choose which carrier it is sent with, otherwise you can pick the service you want. UPS Ground ranges from 1 to 7 day delivery, USPS Priority Mail is typically 1-3 days but is not a guaranteed express service, and USPS Ground Advantage takes roughly 3-7 business days. Longer rods are generally sent via GLS unless otherwise specified, this service ranges from 1 - 10 days.

Prop 65 Warning ⚠
  • Holographic Finish On All Lures
  • Through-Wired Construction
  • Glow Back Pattern for Tuna

The new Tuna versions of the Tady TSP jigs are a much needed change in the jig market, the unique front and rear shape create a wide sweeping action when jigged and an erratic fall on the drop. These are a new design made with shorter and heavier sizes than the standard TSP jigs from Tady, specifically targeted for the big bluefin due to the extra weight and depth they can be used at. Since these are slow pitch jigs you can also use more specialized lighter tackle to really give a great action to the jigs, but they are still usable on bigger heavier reels for a quick drop and retrieve in-fact we encourage you to use them that way for the bigger bluefin. If you are lucky enough to have a nice Slow Pitch setup you can use these for many different species at a variety of current conditions, since they are a bit shorter than the original TSP’s they will work better on a drift or in higher current especially with the added weights.

All of the jigs come in classic holographic bait patterns with a brighter yellow pattern to attract fish in warmer water. Each jig has a patterned glow finish on the back to ensure that they are usable at night and at large depths, the last few years glow jigs have been especially popular for night time and gray light tuna fishing since they get down to the right depth and are easily noticeable by the fish.

Due to the through-wire construction, you won’t have to worry about pulling any eyes or breaking any jigs if you’re fishing heavier drags. The hooks that these are rigged with are classic Slow Pitch eyeless hooks so they aren’t super strong, great for the schoolie tuna and yellow tail but you will definitely want to upgrade if you are looking to fish more than 10lbs of drag. We’d recommend the Mustad J-Assist 1 and 2 series or the Owner Monster’s to ensure you have enough pulling power if you’re fishing heavy line. Otherwise if you want to run these on a true Slow Pitch setup we’d recommend leaving the stock hooks or adding another set of two on the top, the more hooks you have the more pressure will be distributed throughout to ensure you don’t have any failures. This is especially important for bigger fish since long fights are inevitable, you won’t have too much pulling power on 30-40lb braid but with some practice and experience you’ll be able to land even the bigger fish on light line.
