The Exploder series is a classic speed jigging series from the early 2010's, made specifically for catching the biggest yellowfin, bluefin and amberjack. Originally designed in collaboration with Yoichi Mogi who kicked off and popularized the modern style of speed jigging in Japan and abroad. 

We have the last of the rods that the manufacturer and distributor had left, including the heavier two models in the lineup in both spinning and conventional. These rods use Fuji MN SiC guides with the titanium chrome finish and appropriate reel seats for the style.

The lighter XS spinning model is the fastest of the series with a bit lower of a rating while the rest of the rods are more parabolic and suitable for heavy drag and line. 

The Crostage series is Major Craft's value lineup, still featuring high quality Fuji components and very impressive blank designs for a fraction of the price of competing manufacturers. 

Travel rods are super convenient when you're on the go, even if you're not flying it's nice to have something you can pack away quickly and easily before you get to your spot. These Major Craft surf rods are great for all kinds of heavier surf and rocky shore fishing, we especially like them for shore jigging which has been super effective even more than live sand crabs and ghost shrimp.

This series of rods break down into 4 pieces with the longest one being 31" which is small enough for airplane travel, the case is 33" and should be able to fit in a checked bag if needed.

The JX is a classic all-rounder for Avet, it's the most versatile size for SoCal and many other areas covering line classes from 25-60lb while maintaining a small and palmable size. They have plenty of line capacity and can be used for flylining live bait, casting irons and even yoyo iron jigging.

These models come with the MC cast control so they excel at casting lures. The magnet resists the motion of the spool the faster it spins, with larger lures you can get the spool to spin a lot quicker than with a 5" sardine so you get more braking when you need it.
