Tady made a run of their very popular heavy iron 4/0’s in the holographic finish with appropriately heavy single hooks for TUNA. These are excellent iron to toss at both yellowfin and bluefin, they’ve taken their share in recent years.
Tady 4/0’s run about 6 ounces. They cast great, and they drop very well. Cast in the direction of the drift and you’ll gain appropriate depth by the time you go vertical. Then it’s yoyo on the way back up, repeat as necessary…until you get bit! These finishes get noticed, great daytime lures when the fish aren’t coming up to the top for bait. We have five flavors on tap, purple, green, chrome, gold and mint – left to right in the image. These are great iron to fish, and when rigged with treble hooks they are dandy for deeper holding yellowtail. With the meaty singles, they are perfect for tuna and I’ve seen them nail wahoo as well. Very strong jigs, and very well made and finished, too. If you have never tried one, given ’em a go.
