Upon placing  your order you'll receive an immediate confirmation via email. You are not billed at that time. We process orders manually, preferring to have a human actually check things over and contact you should there be questions. Within 24 hours of placing your order you will receive a follow-up email confirmation and final invoice reflecting your total charges (Monday-Friday). You are not billed until we actually send you your final invoice.  Orders shipped to CA addresses will have California Sales Taxes applied, out of state orders are tax free. Orders over $100 are shipped FREE!* Orders less than $100 are billed $8.50 for shipping. During the ordering process you can select expedited shipping if required. (Within the USA via UPS ground. International, and oversize/weight items will be billed for shipping and you will be sent an emailed invoice reflecting total charges prior to actual billing.     Just a quick note to let you know how the Tandem Tuna feathers you made for me worked. Fishing has dropped off now so I have not taken my boat out
yet. I had an opportunity to take a 3 day trip out of H&M Landing. We were trolling in groups of 5. Each group would troll for 30 minutes or until 1 person received a strike. I started in the morning with the black/purple and as the day progressed I changed to the Zucchini or the Mexican Flag pattern. I was getting strikes so fast on these feathers that the other 4 people trolling with me were starting to complain. Some of the other men had identical single feathers but the single feathers didn't work as well. The
Color/Tandum combination seemed to be what the Albacore, Blue Fin and Dorado were looking for. I started loaning my feathers to the guys and even letting them use my rod and setup when I wasn't trolling. People were asking where I purchased the feathers already made up like these. I gave out the 2 stickers that you sent me with my last order and don't know how many times I gave out your Internet Address. I will be going on a 6 day trip at the end of the month. Sevenstrand  TCF 100, TC200, and TCF200 - Tuna Clones

Tuna Clones are probably the most consistent producer of all species of tuna out there.  Tuna Clones feature great skirts, as you'd expect from Sevenstrand, and are weighted - to run just below the surface and swim at normal trolling speeds.  CharkBait's broadened the selection of colors available to include the hottest skirts.  We're stocking both the small 1 ounce 4.5" "Aku" TCF100, and the larger 2.5 ounce 6.5" TC200 size.  

When a smaller presentation is called for, the diminutive Aku Clone -  TCF100 - are perfect baits. They are a very good thing to put in your spread, and also make a dandy daisy chain lure. Rig three or four ahead of hooked TCF100 or 200 and you have some terrific enticement brewing. One trick that's working really well for our local albacore is rigging a larger TC or TCF200 about a foot ahead of the smaller TCF100.  Albies are known for aggressively feeding on smaller baits, this combination get's their attention, and can't be resisted.

Since it's introduction, the Tuna Clone has been Sevenstrand's best seller. For good reason, it flat out catches fish. Lot's of different types, including marlin and...  On June 20, 1998 I caught a very nice and aggressive male Mako Shark of about 150 pounds trolling a TC200 behind a Ballyhood BallyBirdie. I was using a cable leader rather than mono, and enjoyed a fight of 30 minutes! That fish was released mid-channel on the way over to the 277 spot.

We only stock the unrigged versions of the Tuna Clones and Tuna Feathers, strongly preferring custom rigging to factory. Nothing against factory rigging, like you'll find from some of our competitors and non-specialty shops, but they just don't do nearly as good a job.  We use quality leader material and quality hooks.  We rig and crimp properly and won't end up costing you a fish.  Both sizes of Tuna Clone belong in your tackle selection, whatever area of the world you fish. And, both styles of TC - with and without feathers - catch fish and belong in your spread. Consider using these lures as part of a daisy chain or jumping chain. Both styles of rig can be built for your use, with several options in line test, composition, and colors.  You can rig these yourself or have me do 'em  for you.  I like to run the tease lure about 10-12 inches ahead of the trailer.  I prefer using 9' leaders, but most SD based sportboat skippers will prefer you using about 6 foot of leader. 

 

 

 

 

Sevenstrand Tuna Feathers TF200 SevenStrand's Tuna feathers are hand tied with the finest materials available. They are 6 1/2 inches in length and weigh 1 3/4 ounce. The heads are cast from clear resin and are fitted with two movable doll eyes within the casting. I'm stocking the more popular colors, but all colors are available upon special order.  The Tuna Feathers from Sevenstrand ride higher in the water and have a prismatic reflective head.
