Draggin Eyes Trolling Lures

We're really excited about this lure! The albacore are within the one day trip range now in some quantity.  The only downside has been that they have been getting plump feeding on small baits.  They have been loading up on the suaries. So, we searched out a new lure that's the right size, right colors, to match the hatch. 

 

We have two styles of the new lures, both feature BIG red eyes.  One is a small 2 1/2" concave head chugger and the other a 3" bullet nose.  The lures are available rigged and unrigged.  The unrigged lures can be very effectively run in a small chain of two to three lures for better visibility.  The rigged lures feature a single hook for good penetration.  Not surprisingly, the unrigged lures don't feature any hook at all!

Draggin Eyes Hair Jigs - Bullet and Chugger Jet

This aggressive lure manufacturer has some very creative ideas in terms of their lure designs.  Their hair-jigs incorporate a unique design allowing easy skirt replacement.  Until now you would likely toss away a perfectly good lure head once the skirt was thrashed.  Not now.  Draggin Eyes incorporates an easy screw-in design so you can switch skirts easily.  In the future we will be stocking the replacement skirts, but you can also use the PLine octopus skirts for this application just fine.  The lures weigh in at 1.2 ounces and are about 4.5" in length.  They feature LARGE red eyes and nylon hair skirts for fluid action in the water and very good durability.  We are stocking several patterns in two different head designs, a bullet and a slotted jet with cupped head.  Both will prove effective, the jet gaining more of a bubble trail.  If the water is rough, definitely drag the jet.
